Overnight Oats Four Ways
Each of these delicious breakfast recipes starts with a base of Mu Mu Muesli and your favorite plant-based milk. Use a ratio of 1 part muesli, 2 parts liquid. For a single serving, 1/2 cup of muesli and 1 cup of non-dairy milk is a good place to start.
Strawberry Overnight Oats
For creamy strawberry oats, add:
- 2 tablespoons strawberry jam
- 2 tablespoons coconut cream
- 1/2 cup sliced fresh berries
To each serving of oats. If you prefer a less-sweet breakfast, use low-sugar jam or omit the jam altogether and add more sliced berries.
Chocolate Overnight Muesli
To make a decadent chocolate-flavored breakfast, add:
- 2 tablespoons cacao powder or unsweetened cocoa
- 1-2 teaspoons maple syurp, to taste
- 1 tablespoon low-sugar chocoalte chips on top
Apple-Cinnamon Muesli
For cinnamon-spiced vegan overnight oats with added protein, add:
- 1/2 apple, diced
- 1 tablespoon smooth almond butter
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1-2 teaspoons maple syrup, to taste
Pumpkin Spice Overnight Oats
To turn your favorite seasonal latte into a creamy, spoonable breakfast treat, add:
- 1/4 cup pumpin puree
- 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin spice
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
If you love to start the day with a high-fiber, high-protein plant-based breakfast, you can’t go wrong with a bowl of vegan overnight oats made with MuMu Muesli.
