Why Our Homemade Muesli Recipe Makes Mu Mu the Best Muesli Brand on the Planet
Mike and Lisa created Mu Mu after touring Europe and tasting the best muesli ever. (This type of breakfast cereal originated from Switzerland.) After returning to the US, it became apparent that there were simply NO muesli brands in the United States to compare! Often, muesli in the US contains artificial sweeteners, GMOS, and a whole slew of things you definitely don’t want to find in your cereal bowl. Certain brands appeared healthy on the outside but were actually loaded with artificial sweeteners.
Thus the inspiration for Mu Mu Muesli! Mike and Lisa purchased 80 acres of luscious land in upstate New York and have been creating Mu Mu Muesli ever since.
Mu Mu Muesli breakfast cereal is not only naturally sweetened. It’s also:
- A Non-GMO Food
- 100% Vegan
- Free From Refined Sugar
- Eco-Friendly (Solar Powered Facility)
- Crafted from Domestic Ingredients
- Completely Organic (Meaning no Glyphosate!)
- Available with FREE Same Day Shipping

I’ve eaten muesli for years, and despaired at the selection when we first moved to the US. Then we found Mu Mu and haven’t looked back. You really do have the freshest, tastiest muesli on the market both here in the US and on the other side of the Atlantic. I’m a particular fan of the added coconut and my kids fight over the dates! Thank you for consistently keeping up the quality.
The past few years, I’ve struggled with a bad sugar reaction and it’s so difficult to find any food, much less cereal, without added refined sugar. On a whim I bought a very expensive, to me, muesli last year; Mu Mu Muesli at a Whole Foods. I’ve been hooked ever since. It is the best Muesli. There are other brands (without sugar), but they are just not as good tasting. And/or not organic.
Cut to a couple weeks ago, I was finding it harder and harder to find it in the grocery stores. Someone recently put it into my head to skip Amazon etc and head straight to the small business/restaurants etc whose items you want and order directly. Win/win. Stumbled into the blog here to find out you’re not distributing to Whole Foods anymore because you are rescuing wild mustangs and my heart grew ten times bigger. That is amazing and makes me love Mu Mu all the more. I really hope the program grows and more great ideas spring off that (thinking at risk youth, art etc). Keep up the good work. Love from Brooklyn.
I rarely leave reviews for anything, but I have to say, this is the most delicious muesli my taste buds have ever experienced!! I was distraught when it disappeared from Whole Foods, but elated to find them online, and am about to order my second batch. So happy to be able to order directly from them. Seriously thought, it tastes like every bag is made with love, it’s chock full of delicious, nutritious goodness. And OMG their pancake mix is to die for!!! Customer for life. Thank you Mu Mu!!
I eat it right out of the bag. If I’m working I’ll just tip the bag and take a swig of milk. Its a real well made product. I’m on a diet and instead of ice cream I now put Mu Mu in a bowl add frozen berries, butter milk or yorgort with a splash of milk. The balance of oats, nuts and dates is simply the best
Mu Mu Muesli is delicious – the best I’ve ever had and I never get tired of it. Our friends love it so much that they mail order it and have it sent all the way across the country. We were fortunate to have them at our farmers market for years. Mike and Lisa are the kindest and most genuine and enthusiastic people and their product reflects nothing less.
