Why Our Homemade Muesli Recipe Makes Mu Mu the Best Muesli Brand on the Planet
Mike and Lisa created Mu Mu after touring Europe and tasting the best muesli ever. (This type of breakfast cereal originated from Switzerland.) After returning to the US, it became apparent that there were simply NO muesli brands in the United States to compare! Often, muesli in the US contains artificial sweeteners, GMOS, and a whole slew of things you definitely don’t want to find in your cereal bowl. Certain brands appeared healthy on the outside but were actually loaded with artificial sweeteners.
Thus the inspiration for Mu Mu Muesli! Mike and Lisa purchased 80 acres of luscious land in upstate New York and have been creating Mu Mu Muesli ever since.
Mu Mu Muesli breakfast cereal is not only naturally sweetened. It’s also:
- A Non-GMO Food
- 100% Vegan
- Free From Refined Sugar
- Eco-Friendly (Solar Powered Facility)

I have been eating the muesli for years and finally saw the pancake mix. It is very very good, and my high standards partner says it is the healthiest they have seen as well
It it is whole grain, as it seems to be from the description, maybe the label should say so more clearly? It is delicious though, and I don’t use syrup with it, a rare thing for me
I have been making an effort for the better part of 12 years to eat REAL food. I buy my food in local farms, and eat at local restaurants in my area. Local and real is important to me. For real I mean, like nature intended. So cereal was out of the question. It was suggested to me that I add fiber and carbs to my diet and cereal was ideal. I went on a quest and by coincidence found MU MU. The label caught my eyes, then read local and real ingredients. I got a bag, then 2, now 4. I absolutely love this muesli, and can’t imagine my breakfast without it. Thanks.
This review is for both the Muesli and the Pancakes. I found Mu Mu Muesli at my Co-op when I was looking for something like the Muesli I loved while visiting Australia (our granolas are not the same). When I put together Mu Mu Muesli, a little milk and some organic lowfat yogurt, and left it overnight, I was in heaven the next morning. This muesli was creamy and delicious. And when my intense sweet tooth needs some feeding, I simply mix plain yogurt with a little locally-made maple yogurt–and voila. Now to the pancakes: One week when my co-op was out of the Muesli, I went online to order Mu Mu Muesli. I saw the pancake mix (with the intriguing note that you wouldn’t need butter or syrup), so I ordered. I’m here to tell you that it’s TRUE. The pancakes ARE amazing. They need nothing at all to be a delightful meal. They are wonderful. I will occasionally indulge in a little cottage cheese as a sidekick, and again, I’m in Mu Mu heaven.
Me & my mother just finished a 12.5 pound order of muesli.
I have been on a long search for clean healthy breakfast food, since my mom has Alzheimer’s and is very moody and angry in the morning. Since we switched to Mu Mu muesli and eliminated procesessed sinthetic environmental stressors (chemicals) I have noticed a complete change in her demeanor especially in the morning (sundowners) I have no doubt that eliminating chemical preservatives and finally finding clean food is the reason.
For the love of truth.
